SDMG at San Diego Maker Faire 2018

Event Details

This event finished on 07 October 2018

San Diego Maker Faire is October 6th and 7th in the museums of Balboa Park. Because it’s in the museums, and you get to visit most of them on the same ticket, the price is pretty good: $21 a day / $31 both days with 62% discounts for children / military and $3 off for students. (Military / Student IDs required).

San Diego Makers Guild is proud of our history and hard work bringing the Maker Faire to San Diego. Our people put on the First Mini Maker Faire at Del Mar in 2013, completely on our own. We had 5,200 people through the door on a rainy weekend, and had lines out the door. It was a HUGE success despite the rain. We guided the first Maker Faire in Balboa Park in 2015, helped with 2016 and 2017, and are overjoyed that we can now relax and just enjoy having the Maker Faire in our town in 2018 without having to work on it.

We are now turning our attention to building community with regular meetings and putting on the North County Mini Maker Faire, which we’ve run for several years now at the excellent Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista.

Come celebrate with us at our booth!
