3D Settlers of Catan

Little back story,

It’s 1995 and Settlers of Catan was released as a board game in Germany. Players assume the roles of settlers, each attempting to build and develop holdings while trading and acquiring resources. Players are rewarded points as their settlements grow; the first to reach a set number of points is the winner. Soon after, it makes its was into the US and its popularity grows where it has been called “the board game of our time” by The Washington Post.

Now that we live in an age of 3D printers, it is safe to assume people are playing around with ideas on what to print. One local San Diego maker decided to make his love for the game into a project. Check out his blog for more details on this project and other awesome project’s he’s worked on.

The wonderful part of all of this, is you too can make it!
